Two recommendation letters are required. One should come from a current or recent supervisor who can evaluate your work-related skills, while the second may come from an academic or professional source.

4. Academic Statement of Purpose

The statement of purpose should be limited to 500 words and address your academic interests, academic preparation, relevant professional experience, reasons for pursuing the programme, and professional goals.

5. Personal Statement

The personal statement should be between 300 and 500 words and explain how your background and experiences influenced your decision and ability to pursue graduate study.

6. Resume or CV

A current résumé or CV is required. Cornell notes that relevant experience and demonstrated interest in the industry can strengthen the application and support success in the programme.

7. Video Interview

After submitting the application, applicants automatically receive an invitation to complete a video interview consisting of short verbal responses to pre-recorded questions.

8. Application Fee

The non-refundable application fee is $105. Cornell provides fee waivers for eligible current or former U.S. military members and Cornell students or recent alumni.
