SKEMA MIM Curriculum

The programme is structured across two years. The first year focuses on Advanced Business Management and developing a strong understanding of business fundamentals and international management. The second year focuses on specialisation and professional preparation.

YearFocus
M1 – First YearAdvanced Business Management, prerequisite courses, refresher or elective courses, and international track choices.
M2 – Second YearSpecialisation, professional experience and preparation for entry into the workforce.

First Year: M1

During M1, students develop their understanding of business management principles while building international experience. All courses are taught in English across SKEMA’s campuses. Students can choose their spring pathway according to their interests and professional objectives.

Spring options include:

  • Study at an international SKEMA campus.
  • CFA Level 1 specialisation at the Paris campus.
  • Take a work-experience year before returning to complete the academic component.
  • Participate in an exchange with one of SKEMA’s university partners.

Second Year: M2 Specialisation

The second year is focused on specialisation and employability. Students can complete their M2 at one of SKEMA’s international campuses, through an academic exchange, as a double degree with a partner institution, or through an apprenticeship pathway where eligible.

The M2 year is taught entirely in English as part of an MSc for students following the standard MSc pathway. This gives students the opportunity to graduate with both the SKEMA Master in Management qualification and an additional specialisation-based MSc in many cases.
